GOING TO THE CHAPEL, GOING TO GET MARRIED

There is a squeal from the ladies and then the heels of their high-heeled shoes start going click, click, click. They are walking very fast looking for purses and cameras and then poppers, Marshal, comes with a big smile and says, "here we go, baby." Mommy Chenny picked up her dress and the cousins, Gabby, Tori and Dayzy picked up the back of  mommy's dress. The back of the dress is so long they called it a train.

Now I get to tell the rest of the story, Lola.

Ok  now I, Gigi, gets to tell you the story because I know my sister Lola is going to get sad again. You see when they all left Loli was very sad because we knew the Chenny was going away for a little while and then she would go away for a long, long time. She was going to miss her mommy Chenny.

But Chenny was so happy how could we not be happy for her. So I did what I do best. I cleaned Lola's tears by licking her eyes. I gave her kisses and then we snuggled as they all walked quickly towards the very big car they called a limo.

They all grabbed hands and headed out to that "limo." Some of the cousins grabbed the back of her very long dress. This part of the dress is called the train.
So daddy Marshall took her by the arm and they all left with great big smiles on their faces.

"Careful mommy Chenny, watch your step and be careful with you Manolo Blahnik's" , Lola called out.
The mommy's love to watch this movie called Sex and the City where they saw these beautiful blue shoes. These shoes were mommy's "something blue"

Little by little all the girls go in the car and help mommy Chenny and her big dress into the car. They were all going to a special place for a ceremony.

They were heading to the chapel. they were going to get married. Chenny and Jonathan. 



THAT'S MY SISTER

See how cute my sister looks all snuggly with my other sister, Chenoa. It's complicated. Yes she is my sister because my mommy, is Chenny's mommy. But my sister Chenoa is my other sister from another mother, Lola's mom. See, I told you it's complicated. Whatever, my sister Lola looks so cute. But Chenny looks beautiful.

THE WEDDING DAY

Mommy's friends were almost done and they giggled and were so happy. Girls are so much fun when they are dressing up and going to special places. After they were all done they stepped away and looked at mommy Chenny with such great big smiles on their faces. Quietly mommy stepped away and just smiled the biggest smile I have ever seen.

Then mommy starts twirling in her beautiful white dress. She holds me and squeezes me. I love it when she does that.
Then mama was sitting and kept calling my mommy, Chenny. Mommy runs to go see mama. Mama is my grams mom. She is so beautiful and so funny. She loves to squeel just like my grams. So when my mommy Chennny goes over to see her she just squeels and then laughs so loud. She keeps calls my mommy "Chenita." "Chenita, que linda", which means how beautiful Chenny. How do I know?
Because my gram's side of the family all speak Spanish. So does my mommy and uncle Brandon.
Mama is our great grandmother. She is so sweet and loves us all so much. Momma loves to sing to us everytime she holds us. That is how we know that she is soooo happy.

Oh everyone is so happy and giddy and just running all around and getting ready. They say theya re waiting for "the car." I guess it must be a special car because everyone keeps looking out the window for this car. In the meantime we hear the click, click sound of all the girls shoes.

The Big Day

The day Lola's mommy got married.

That day there were so many people coming in and out of the house. But before that day there were parties all the time. There was an engagement party, there were showers, there were more showers and then there were dinners. Boy I was really happy because we would meet all sorts of new friends.

Lola, would love to run up to people and cuddle. Not me, I Gigi do not like to run up to people. My mommy says that I am like a cat. I only go to people when I want to get to know them. If not I runaway to my big puffy bed.

Stop interrupting Gigi......

So on the day my mommy got married there lots of ladies in the house from the moment we woke up. They were brushing and curling and putting things on my mommy's face. Then when they would finish with her they would go to my grams and do the same.

Lola's grams is my mommy.

Stop interrupting Gigi. So, when all the noise stopped they brought out a big white dress. All the ladies went ohhhhh, ahhhhh. Then they all stood around her and they held her hand and were crowding her and I couldn't see. Then they all stepped back and there stood my mommy in the most beautiful white dress I have ever seen.

She had such a big smile and she looked so beautiful.
